Phase 3 of WoW Classic: Season of Discovery introduces a variety of new Runes for every class in the game. Much like in Phase 2, players will be able to unlock 6 or 7 Runes throughout Phase 3, depending on their class. Most of the new Runes go into the Head and Wrist slots, meaning you’re able to add them to your gear without having to worry about removing any of the Runes you acquired during previous phases.
Using the Runes system, players can engrave their items with potent new abilities and buffs. Some Runes even completely change what roles you’re able to take on in a raid, such as aRogue Tankor aMage Healer. These Runes add additional interchangeability to your specialization and your role in raids or PvP. With the ability to change them anytime you are out of combat, you are able to shift your approach to any scenario without having to pay for a talent specialization reset.
