Sometimes you just want a taste of nostalgia, even if it’s not good. That’s the case for one man inTainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, as coming across the first settlement early in the game, you’ll find the rather dull-witted Temur looking for a taste of home. His mother’s pie is something he just can’t get off his mind, and it’s something you can ease his suffering by collecting the ingredients and then baking it for him.
Accepting the Quest
Upon entering the first settlement in Act 1, head to the left to find a small campfire. From around 9am onward, there will be Keeper Temur huddled by the fire. He is an odd fellow who eventually tells you that, ever since his breakfast, he has only been thinking of his mother’s cooking, specifically her famous pie. He asks if you’re able to make the pie for him. You may have just met the man, but you’re already baking a pie for him.
After getting through the dialogue, Keeper Temur will give you the recipe for his Mom’s Pie, which restores 15 HP over 10 seconds.
Where to Find the Ingredients
Eggsare probably the easiest of the bunch to find because they are generally scattered throughout the city, but a more specific location is located up in the rafters. Head up the wooden slope that leads to the second floor and eventually a third floor. Follow this up and turn a 180 up another flight of stairs. You will be in a watchtower with some boxes. In one of the boxes will be an egg.
If you’re looking forFlour, we recommend pickingOrlaith’s pocket(the merchant near the entrance) and steal her house key. Her residence is right behind her, so all you need to do is turn the corner to find her small house. At this point, you’ll need to pick the storage box at the end of the bed. The other option is to go into the shacktown and there will be a barrel that has some flour in it.
Blueberries
As forblueberries, these can be found around the world in random boxes and barrels. You can find some more specifically in the bandit camp all the way to the north on the first floor outside.
Returning with the Pie
All that needs to be done is craft the pie. Put up a bonfire or go to the small campfire in town and cook Mom’s Pie. This is a decent source of health, so if you have extra resources, be sure to use them. Afterward, talk to Keeper Temur and give him the pie.
He will go on about how it tastes horrible, just as his mother used to make it.
