Buckshot Roulette is an intense tabletop horror game that pits you against a disturbing character as you play Russian Roulette with a 12-gauge shotgun. At one point, you’ll be asked if you want to take some mysterious pills you find in the bathroom.
Before you swallow those pills, let’s discuss what happens if you do. Here’s everything you need to know.
Should you swallow the pills in the bathroom in Buckshot Roulette?
When you first start Buckshot Roulette, you will be asked if you want to consume pills in the bathroom, but there is no clarification on what happens if you do.Consuming the pills in the bathroom will actually unlock a hard mode called “Double or Nothing.”
The good news is that the game will inform you that taking the pills is“not recommended for the first playthrough.”I would definitely agree with this statement. This is becauseDouble or Nothingis a mode built for veterans of the game, and beginners will likely have zero chance of succeeding.
What is Double or Nothing mode in Buckshot Roulette?
Double or Nothing, otherwise known as Endless Mode, has a different structure and requires the player to be at their absolute best. In this brutal mode, thedoctor is completely absent and there is no one to revive you if you die.
Instead of the doctor reviving you, the screen will turn black, and you will be sent back to the bathroom. In other words, your run is completely over once you die in Double or Nothing and you have to start the entire game over from scratch.
Double or Nothing has three stages. Completing a set shows the player their current earnings and allows them toplay another set for double their current earnings.
ThisDouble or Nothing modeadds a huge risk and reward factor to Buckshot Roulette, but it also causes way more anxiety and stress. I wish you the best of luck!
