Stranger ThingsSeason 4 Volume 2 Will Land on Netflix on Friday

Everything shown fromStranger ThingsSeason 4 Volume 2 so far has suggested a dark and gloomy conclusion to the hit series’ penultimate outing.Stranger Thingsproducer and director Shawn Levy has revealed that dark and gloomy is exactly what the final two episodes will be, stating that what’s left of the fourth season will be a real punch in the chest.

“I’ll just tell you that we are hard at work on volume two,”Levy said of parts 8 and 9. “There’s so much being written as far as the runtimes of these episodes, and the hefty runtime of episode nine, in particular. Having seen both those finale episodes, they are as emotional as they are cinematic. Holy shit, they are definitely a treat for the eyes, but they punch you right in the heart. So, that’s what I’ll say about that.”

While there are only two episodes left, they will both be feature-length, givingStranger ThingsSeason 4 plenty of time to wrap things up. In fact, the final episode clocks in at an extended 2 hours and 19 minutes.

Starring a large ensemble cast that includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Matthew Modine and Paul Reiser,Stranger ThingsSeason 4 Volume 2 will be available to stream on Netflix from June 16, 2025.
