Here’s your 3.2 change log:

For iPhone and iPod touch:Record and track all kinds of payments, including checks and gift cards.

For iPad:– Reconcile your cash drawer quickly and easily with cash management.– Record and track all kinds of payments, including checks and gift cards.– Connect a Bluetooth printer to wirelessly print receipts from the portable SM-S220i

For the folks who have never used Square Register before, it’s super simple. It’s essentially a digital cash register that comes with a plug-and-play accessory for taking credit card payments. It then sends receipts via SMS, or, with version 3.2, prints them on your Bluetooth printer.

The Register app can also accept payments viaSquare Wallet, the company’s wireless payment service. With Wallet, you can pay for items by telling a Square-friendly cashier your first and last name—no NFC, no scanners. It’s still in its infancy, but the concept is super interesting.

At any rate, it comes down to if I were a small business owner, with a physical retail location, I’d definitely use Square Register. If you want to check it out for yourself, you can find the latest versionin the App Store, for both the iPhone and iPad for free. More info at Square.com.
