Sony has now confirmed the new date for the Playstation 5 reveal event which will feature the lineup of games is set for June 11th.
Sony’s Playstation 5 Event Rescheduled for June 11th
Sony Interactive Entertainment have now confirmed the rescheduled date for the PS5 reveal event titled “The Future of Gaming” which was announced via thePlaystation Blog. The event was originally going to place on June 4th last week but waspostponeddue to the current protests and in a sign of solidarity moved their online event.
The event will now take place onJune 11th at 1:00 PM PDT/9:00 PM BSTand will be livestreamed from on Twitch and Youtube. The showcase will run for about an hour and will feature for the first time a completely virtual experience, which won’t be accompanied by any physical event. It will show a pre-recorded broadcast at 1080p and 30 frames per second. The decision to have this event pre-taped as it “eased the show’s production process during a time when many of our team and developers are working from home.” The post also outlines its best to wear headphones as this will be the best way to “appreciate” the audio.
As previously shared, the event will outline the games that will be released after the launch of PS5, which will be in the holidays of 2020.
Anticipation is definitely in the air with rumours now buzzing of what will be shown. Most recently there has been speculation that aBloodborne remasterwill be announced for PS5 along with PC.
