As the release ofElden Ring’sShadow of the Erdtree draws closer, it remains imminent how players will be facing many new foes, introducing horrors one could have never thought of before. The exception to this is none other than Hidetaka Miyazaki himself, who happens to be the mastermind behind the very events we will soon be witnessing.
The DLC also happens to be FromSoftware’s largest expansion yet, which would sound great to many until they get to know how it is the only extensionElden Ringwill be getting. To further prepare for what seems to be a quest handed down by Miquella, the studio has been teasing players through their official social media platforms, and a recent post has got everyone standing on their wit’s end.

The latest post onElden Ring’sofficialTwitteraccount warns players of how something ‘unfathomable‘ awaits them in the mysterious Land of Shadow. It was confirmedearlier through an official gameplay trailerhow the tarnished will soon be following in the footsteps of the empyrean twin Miquella and will be traversing to the new and undiscovered realm where Queen Marika first set foot.

The teaser released yesterday showcases a creature that has never been seen before. The accommodating caption suggests how it will be one of the most powerful enemies that the players will be soon fighting in the DLC, and the features of this particular creature have led fans to speculate how it is none other than Miquella himself, in a grotesque form.

It is being speculated how the tall creature, shown to be bending down and wielding a unique weapon is supposed to be the empyrean twin himself. What causes the rise of this speculation is the existence of horns on the creature’s head, which would indicate a connection to Omens.
Why The TeasedElden RingCreature None Other Than Miquella Himself?
So far, it has been revealed how Mohg, the Lord of Blood had been performing experiments on Miquella’s empyrean body after abducting him from the Haligtree. Mohg’s ultimate ambition remained to establish a new Omen Dynasty, creatures who are detested by the Golden Order and are identified by the growth of horns on their body; by ushering in a new age with Miquella as the new ruler.
