Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater received its official release date at the State of Play 2025 with a brand new trailer for PC and current-generation consoles. Similarly, the Steam page is updated to reflect new details including some technical aspects of the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 remake.

Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater System Requirements

The requirements aren’t as detailed as we’d like, with no mention of target resolution, framerate or graphics presets. Either way, if you’re looking to play the title at higher settings, you don’t need much. A Ryzen 5 3600 paired with an RTX 3080 is recommended, both of which are fairly old at this point.

On the lower side, the developers recommended an RTX 2060 Super with 8 GB of VRAM paired with the same CPU on AMD’s side. Outside of that, players need a total of 100 GB to install Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and DirectX 12 is required.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and the PS5 onAugust 28, 2025.

Based on these requirements Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater doesn’t seem like a very demanding title. However, this is an Unreal Engine 5 release and we won’t really know how well it performs until release.

Additionally, a lack of any target mentioned in the requirements makes it difficult to establish what this hardware really is for, and if there is any upscaling being used in the process.
