The life-sim RPG Kynseed is finally leaving early access this December.
Kynseed Life Sim RPG By Ex-Fable Developers Leaves Early Access December
Developer PixelCount Studios is made up of ex-Fable series devs. They have announced their life-sim RPG Kynseed will be finally leaving early access next month. The title was first released inearly access in 2018. The pixel art style and its cosy life sim mechanics will be launching fully onDecember 6th 2022.
The slice-of-life title includes everything you could want from a life sim including farming, running a business, raising your own pixel family and exploring a world. There’s also crafting and engaging in real-time combat with the strange creatures of the world of Quill. What’s also interesting about Kynseed is when a player character eventually dies, the control is then passed down to their children. This includes your skills and powers, a passing of the torch. This multi-generational story continues on through the offspring of your characters.
Life in Kynseed isn’t always easy, reflecting real life. Expect a story with British charm and humour, infused with “eccentricity”. Experience seasons passing as life continues in this charming world.
Kynseed was in early access for the past few years, with the developer gaining feedback from players and improving the title. The game has seen over 100,000 players in early access. If you like the idea of aFable-fueled,Stardew Valleyadventure then Kynseed might be worth checking out this sandbox RPG this December.
So far there’s no news if the title will be coming to further platforms, but wouldn’t this be awesome on Switch? Let’s hope the devs decided to bring it to consoles at some point.
