This survival game has many tools and weapons that unfortunately lose durability quickly, but there’s a way to fix that. Here’s what to do.
LEGO Fortnite: How to increase durability of tools and weapons
If you aren’t happy with how fast your items lose durability, there’s a way you’re able to fix this issue. How you can increase weapon and tool durability in LEGO Fortnite is byenchanting your items with an Essence Table.
Once you unlock the crafting recipe for the Essence Table, you can use it to enchant your tools and weapons with powerful essences. For instance, enchant your sword to increase its damage, or try out the Essence of Health for survivability. But in this case, we want the Essence of Durability. It seems like you can eventuallyunlock more essences as you progressthrough LEGO Fortnite.
Using 20 Flexwood and six Cut Amber, create the Essence Table. Then you should see a few essences available once you choose which item to enchant. Pick theEssence of Durability, which requires one Rough Amber and 10 Granite Slabs.
Ignore the fact that the infinity sign is showing in these screenshots, I was in sandbox mode at the time. But in survival mode, you’ll need that amount of materials.

There are three slots available for Essences, meaning your item can have more than one enchantment at a time. It only takes a second to enchant, but once the process is complete, you now have a much more durable tool or weapon.
How to use the increase durability bug
If you’ve read our guide on how torepair tools and weapons, you’ll know that there’s a funny little glitch that allows you to fix item durability. This trick doesn’t increase the overall durability, but it essentially fixes up your items.
Simplyplace your low-durability items in a chest, then punch and break the chest. Once you pick your items back up, they’ll be back to 100% durability! This is currently a bug that still works since I tested it out myself.
