Nosepass used to have a really annoying evolution method in older Pokémon games. Thankfully, that is no longer the case in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If you’ve caught one of these north-facing nose rocks in The Teal Mask and need to evolve it, read on to learn how.

How to Evolve Nosepass in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Nosepass used to require leveling up in an electromagnetically charged area to evolve. Needless to say, that was pretty confusing most of the time. Now,all you need to do is use a Thunder Stone on Nosepass for it to evolve into Probopass.

Thunder Stones automatically go to your Other Items bag pocket. On the left side of the bag menu screen is a list of your party Pokémon. After selecting the Thunder Stone, all the Pokémon in your party that are compatible with it will have the words “Can use” underneath them with a green background. Select your Nosepass and watch it evolve!
