In November of last year, Harmonix released their DJ simulator/rhythm game Fuser upon the world to a hefty amount of positive reviews. In our review, however,we noted that the game works best when focusing on the joy of creating music, and that’s especially true when it comes to sharing your creations with other people, what with the game resembling a virtual music festival and practically demanding a crowd. Well, the Headliner Spotlight Update is now live for Fuser, which gives you a chance to show off your skills at creating music to the largest audience yet via its main attraction, the Diamond Stage.
The Diamond Stage is a 24/7, real-time spotlight that will allow folks to perform live in front of hundreds of other players, watching either in-game or throughFuser’s brand spanking new Twitch channel. To get a primetime slot on the Diamond Stage, though, players will have to earn Diamonds, either by participating in the game’s regular events via playing or voting, or just playing through all of the game’s various modes in general. Basically, as you hone your skills in game over time, you can get the chance to show off what you can accomplish with your dream playlist.

In addition to the Diamond Stage, the Headliner Spotlight Update also provides improvements to DJ profiles, fully-integrated Twitch Drops across all platforms, a better Recommendation Engine that allows players to find more mixes that they like, and huge adjustments to the in-game currency and XP economies, including a new Diamond Shop. This is apparently the biggest update since the game’s launch, and to celebrate, Harmonix have revealed the first set of streamers that will take to the Diamond Stage, which you may check out in the schedule below. And if you think you can do better than them, Fuser is available now on all major platforms, so you can have your shot at the stage as well.
