DirectorJames Gunnis currently in pre-production onGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which starts principal photography early next year, with the studio already setting a July 29, 2025 release date. It’s possible that we may get more insight into Drax’s tattoos in the upcoming sequel, but since very few story details have been released thus far, it’s too soon to tell right now.
