Get ready for more surreal bizaare adventures with the announcement of Grime II. The sequel to theacclaimed 2021 metroidvaniawill be returning for PC via Steam. The game will return with its unique mechanics of stealing deadly creature’s abilities through the art of mimicking called Formless.
As you venture further into the strange surreal world where danger awaits, you’re able to summon Molds to help defeat enemies as well as bosses. Customisation of playstyle comes with a range of abilities, weapons and summons. But Molds won’t be just for combat, they will also help in exploration which is key to metroidvania’s dark universe.
Use tendrils to both parry enemy attacks and also grasp them to absorb their shape. Explore the different locations that each have their own culture, characters and civilisations. Interacting with characters will help uncover the world around you.
Grime II seems to be in keeping the first entry’s look and feel. The beautiful but also deadly looking environments will surely have some fun mechanics in store. Living Weapons was what made Grime such a weird and wonderful way to fight the inhabitants of its unforgiving world. The Action-RPG will surely provide some new experiences, especially with new summons to help even the playing field.
Grime IIwill be coming to PC via Steam. No release date has been announced as of yet.
