That being said, ghosts in this game are a tricky sort of foe. They have powerful abilities that can hinder or even harm you. They have a load of tricks for getting away, and they can fly. To maximize your busting ability, you’ll want to be well-equipped with everything the game has to offer. That’s why you’ll want to make good use of the Gear Cart. The Gear Cart gets loaded up with you at the beginning of every match and is left as the entrance to the building. It can’t be moved by the ghost or the Ghostbusters, so you’ll have to go back to it whenever you need to change a gadget or resupply an item.
Change Your Gadget
When you first start the game, you’re given a pretty standard set of equipment. You’ll want to level up that equipment and your Ghostbuster to begin unlocking better abilities and more advanced equipment. When you open up the Gear Cart, you’ll see your gadget options on the left side of the screen.
If you’re a level fifty Ghostbuster, you’ll be able to choose whichever gadget you like, which includes the V.A.D., Ionizer Pods, a Radar Puck, and the Ecto Goggles. Each of these items has its own unique abilities, so you’ll want to try them out and see which ones best fit your playstyle. Remember that you may change these at the Gear Cart at any point. So, if you decide something isn’t working for you, don’t be shy about taking a moment to go change it. You’ll always be better off with equipment you feel confident with.

Resupply Your Ghostbuster
The right side of the screen is where you’re able to resupply your Ghostbuster with whatever they may need. In some cases, gadgets have a finite amount of charges or ammunition that will need to be reloaded from time to time. You can also get a new ghost trap here if you misplaced yours. Then again, definitely try not to misplace your traps. They’re extremely valuable in tense situations.
It’s also worth noting that if you throw down your trap and become incapacitated, the ghost can grab your trap and run off with it. Without the ability to trap the ghost, your Ghostbuster pretty much has no choice but to waste precious time running back to the Gear Cart for a resupply. You’ll want to avoid this whenever possible, but it’s good to know that a ghost stealing your trap doesn’t mean it’s gone for the rest of the match. Remember that there’s no limit or cooldown associated with resupplying at the Gear Cart, so make as much use of it as you can without wasting too much time.
