Presenting at Paris Games Week, Square Enix announced thatFinal Fantasy XVhas gone gold, meaning it’s finalized and on to press for its November 29th release on PS4 and Xbox One. This comes as great news to those who have followed its long development process.

Furthermore, Square spoke about theDLCplans for the game, and the work that is being put into it. The game will feature a 24.99 USD Season Pass that includes 3 individual episodic stories, where players can take on the role of main characterNoctis' 3 other party members:Prompto,IgnisandGladiolus. Through their eyes players can explore their stories and gameplay seeing new areas and earning new equipment and weapons that can be used in the base game. EpisodeGladioluswill launch first, followed byEpisode IgnisandEpisode Prompto. If you want to learn more about the party’s dynamics and backstory check out theparty feature we recently wrote. An expansion pack calledComradeswill follow these episodes, and will introduce online multiplayer for 4 players! The expansion will introduce new intense battles letting players explore the party dynamics. As with the 3 story episodes, it will be available standalone or included in the Season Pass.
