When Anne’s dog gets kidnapped, the two sisters come up with a crazy plan to find the money that is needed to rescue it. Anne, who has been watching quiz shows for comfort, has expert-level Trivia knowledge that the two decide to use to help find the money needed to rescue her dog. What ensues is a cross-country Trek that will surely be full of hilarious moments. Unfortunately, she has the virus which she passes on to her young son and husband. Beth and her son die but her husband, Mitch (Matt Damon) is immune to the disease which makes him integral in finding the cure.
AlthoughContagionwas released in 2011, the facts contained in the movie are harrowing. The movie aptly depicted the social disorder, confusion, and conspiracy theories that could result from a disease that could end humanity as we know it.
