Fixing the Items Disappearing Issue
It seems that this issue ismost commonly found in multiplayer games, where the host logging off properly saves the game, but another player sleeping and logging off doesn’t save the game properly. In that case, the common solutions include the host logging off and logging back in, or picking up the remaining items at the location that’s had disappearances, then placing them down again. This seems to trigger the items that vanished to reappear.
Another common cause is a playerplaying the game on one device, then logging onto a new device. When they’re on the new device, they find that some items are gone. Both of these causes seem to point to cloud storage being part of the core problem that leads to the bug. However, the device-switching one has the easiest fix, since players report that they were able to restore the lost items by returning to their original device.
But there are cases where this issue appears at random, which is the most difficult to solve. Your best options at that point are to exit the game and reload it, or try picking up the remaining items and placing them down again. Of course, if you find that nothing is working to restore your items, you can useconsole commands to give yourself the items that are missing. After enabling the console option in your settings, use"~" to open theconsole, then type in “give” followed by the item you want and the amount you want. This places it right in your inventory, letting you restore missing items in Schedule 1.
