Developer Dead Mage has added a new DLC to the narrative driven Action-RPG Children of Morta called Paws and Claws.

Children of Morta Adds Animals in Paws and Claws Charity DLC

Children of Morta, the Action-RPG which follows the Bergson family adds a whole new level of cuteness with the latest DLC Paws and Claws. The downloaded content with proceeds that go to charity, adds a number of animals to pet with a new Animal Shelter.

The family home gets an animal domain, which players can return to in between dungeon runs with plenty of animals to feed and care for including deer, foxes, peacocks, owls and more.

You can even feed them treats found inside dungeon chests to raise the happiness levels, this in turn boosts family members which includes a number of buffs. These include luck, movement speed, XP gain and much more. Depending on the animal’s happiness level, it will determine the boost gain. For example Happy animals gain a low boost, Excited animals gain a medium boost, while Overjoyed animals grant the highest boost.

Proceeds from the DLC will go to the Humane Society International charity, which works towards improving animal welfare, wildlife preservation, promotes animal-free testing and research.
