Developer Black Isle Studios have announced Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 Re-Release will be coming to PC and consoles as soon as next week.
Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 Re-Release Launches on PC and Consoles on July 20th
In a post on Twitter, Black Isle Studios unveiled the re-release date for Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2 which wasteased earlier this yearto coming to consoles and PC this summer. Soon is very soon according to the tweet, the re-release will be hitting PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S onJuly 20th. It will also be releasing on the Steam Deck as confirmed by a tweet from the developer.
BG: Dark Alliance 2 was released originally on PS2 and Xbox in 2004, which is three years after the prequel. The developer had been teasing that the sequel would be coming sooner than we thought. Next week the game will unleash on new consoles, letting players pick from five new heroes with new class feats and abilities.

The title comes with 80 levels to challenge, which includes hidden areas, secret characters and tons of items to discover. You can even forge unique magical weapons and armor to enhance the maximum damage you can inflict. The Steam page also shares players can play in both single-player and two-player cooperative mode.

The first entry Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance had a re-release last year, coming with 4K support, backwards compatibility and two-player couch co-op, but no added features.
