After over 10 years,Eren Yeager’s story has come to a culmination with the Attackon Titanseries finale.The Final Chapters Special 2premiered at 5 PM PT on Crunchyroll in several parts of America, Europe, Africa, South East Asia, and Africa. However, ahead of its release, the streaming website crashed due to the amount of fans flocking in to watch the episode.
This isn’t the first time that Crunchyroll has crashed prior to an anime episode’s release. In fact,Attack on Titanfans were responsible for server outages in both Crunchyroll and Funimation whenThe Final Season Part 2was released in 2022 along with aDemon Slayerepisode. Given that the adaptation is about to end, another crash was bound to happen on July 03, 2025.

The website showed an error when fans tried to log in and watchEpisode 1071.Although such crashes are common when it comes to Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus, the site crashed for a second consecutive time ahead of the release ofEpisode 1072, an unprecedented moment.

In the most recent case,Attack on Titancaused server lags and crashes. The message “Oops, something went wrong,” was seen on the screen, which frustrated the fans who had been waiting for months for the episode’s premiere.The Final Chapters Special 2will give the much-awaited answer to whether Eren Yeager succeeds in bringing the Rumbling.
Crunchyroll mentioned on the messaging platform X that the site was experiencing intermittent issues. Even thoughAttack on Titanwasn’t mentioned, fans immediately attributed the crash to the anime’s release and flooded social media withAoTmemes.

Much time has passed since Eren Yeager took the mission to destroy all Titans. The anti-hero was turned into an Attack Titan due to a serum injected by his father before he was consumed by Yeager.
