Starting the A Wife Wafted Away Quest
When you first talk toFronkatcoordinates (3289, 0442, 0139), he’ll tell you if you’ve ever heard of a“floating place”. His wife referenced this in a mysterious song before traveling east, and even Link isn’t entirely sure what’s going on. Fronk worries about her absence, prompting you to find her! Following this conversation, you’ll officially begin the“A Wife Wafted Away” quest.

Where to Find Mei in Tears of the Kingdom – Floating Place Location
Once the conversation ends, fast-travel toIgoshon Shrine at coordinates (3480, 0664, 1325)and glide directly southeast towardWellspring Island. Alternatively, you may teleport to theWater Temple Entranceand fly in this direction. You’ll naturally encounter this area as you progress through the Zora’s Domain storyline.

Your goal is to reach the island atcoordinates (3669, 0570, 1251), where you’ll find Mei starting near a campfire, singing along to the floating place song. Speak to Mei to progress through the quest.

During this conversation, Met will comment on the island and its fish before Link jumps in and questions what’s happening. After she explains the situation,she’ll head home to Zora’s Domain.
